Photos of My Kitty
Unashamedly, I’m a cat person. It’s not that I don’t like dogs, I’ve just not had good luck with them…we’re talking big problems. Besides, there’s just something I respect about a cat’s demeanor.
My cat comes to you only on her terms and she knows when to keep a distance too. She can be rather moody, but I’ve learned to recognize the look in her eyes when she’s feeling that way and know that I’d better leave her alone. And I do not like the way she jumps out from under my bed and surprise attacks my legs; yet I realize this is her idea of fun.
She gives me giggles when I see her bird feeder watching and her tail is wildly flicking about as she makes that funny chattering noise. She’s also very loving and gives me a very peaceful feeling when she rubs up against my legs or sits in my lap while I watch my favorite TV show.
And when I see her basking in the sunlight or cuddled on a pillow in a round ball I feel instantly relaxed too. I love the way she is naughty and hops on the counter to drink milk from a glass using her paw to dip it out. And I feel loved when she sits on my bathroom counter and keeps me company while I’m getting ready.
Yesterday I took some closeup photos of her for the first time; I’ve been playing around more with the macro setting on my camera.
You have a very lovely kitty, she has a sweet nose. I too am a cat person.
The older I get, which is starting to seem a lot older sometimes, the more I love and appreciate my cat. She is 15 going on 16 next month. She has survived 3 babies, too many moves, 2 other cats, 2 birds and tanks of fish. I like dogs, but they are too much work. Give me a sweet kitty and I am content. Nice to know you are a cat person, too.

Lovely photos! I was always a ‘cat person’… until I got our dog, Pandy. She’s a chihuahua – but very UNchihuahua-like. She is my lap dog. She loves to cuddle up with me and, unlike a cat, greets me with enthusiasm when I come home and actually COMES when I call her.
I still love cats, but my heart belongs to a sweet little chihuahua…,
