Has Anyone Seen the Sun?
WANTED: Big yellow round object which provides warmth and lifts spirits.
I’m fairly sure that it’s been well over a week now since we’ve seen the sun in our parts. The only thing we’ve been sure to get though is cold rain. Ya’ll know I’m not one to complain about the weather, I really do appreciate all kinds of weather in all the seasons. However one thing I will surely start complaining about is when the sun goes missing for extended periods of time. And what’s worse is the forecast shows no hope for it’s return anytime soon.
I mean there is a scientific reason for missing the big yellow fella, he’s full of Vitamin D and just makes everything a little more cheery.
So, if you know where Mr. Sun has gone missing to, will you please report his whereabouts immediately? And send him our apologies for whatever we’ve done to upset him.
Until then, I’ll have to get my warmth and light from these.
I am having the same trouble in Indiana. I did catch a very brief moment of sunshine this afternoon, but then it rained and now it is gloomy again. I am starting to think I need a photo therapy lamp.

I feel your pain. Truly. Where I live, there are very few days each year of direct sunlight. Generally we have a haze. The skies are continually gray. Winter is the worst. I am longing for the sun.
The Lord is my Light!
I know where the sun is: here, in Arizona. He never leaves. He thinks we want his bright, unending self here, but we’re from the Midwest – we don’t know what to do with him all the time! We rarely watch the weather channel anymore, we never consult the forecast when making plans (sometimes months in advance!), and he’s scared away the lovely rain clouds. Life here is alien. We’ve tried sharing him with the rest of the world, but he won’t go away. *sigh* Please come to visit and take him home with you!
We are searching for that sun also! Even the dog is searching…
