Walking in a Winter Wonderland

This morning, right as the sun was rising over the horizon, and the sky was a clear beautiful blue, I bundled up and took a winter wonderland walk.  And I really mean winter wonderland…it was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen the woods in the winter.  Not only is everything in nature layered in deep drifts of snow, but it is also dressed to impress with silver and diamonds galore.  Even in the prime of spring, when the beautiful greens are shooting forth everywhere, the woods have never been so impressive to me.  I took over 70 photos!  So narrowing down what to share with you was truly an arduous task.  So please, would you join me in witnessing God’s creation garbed in silvery white wonder?

“God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’ So that all men he has made may know his work, he stops every man from his labor.” ~ Job 35:5-7
