Lions, and Tigers, and Boys, Oh My!
I am truly blessed with a rugged, tough, rambunctious, nuts and bolts, lizards and snakes, all-boy, boy! Me, being the all grown up girly girl that I am, just doesn’t know what to think of him sometimes! But he still fills my heart with joy and laughter everyday, and never ever ceases to challenge me in just the ways I need.
He’s a ping-pong ball of endless energy, bounding in and out and up and down and all over. He can hit the ground running at 6:30am in the morning, and doesn’t stop until falling asleep practically in mid-air at 9:00pm. He’s my outdoors nature comrade, sharing my true fascination and awe with God’s creation. Deep inside, he’s tender hearted and feels-deeply. He can’t stand to see Mom cry, so much that even if he doesn’t know why, he’ll cry too.
Yes, I’m truly blessed to have my God-given bundle of all-boy! Now, if God just would have equipped him with a volume control!
